Rising from the depths to wreak havoc upon our fair cities, a classic returns!
Originally released 16 (!!!) years ago, “The Sea Also Rises: The King of Crabs Claims His Throne” has been out of print for a WHILE now, and it’s back in a new colorway!
Print measures 18×24″ and is hand-printed right here at the Nakatomi Print Labs by our crack team of ink-slingers. Individually signed by artist Tim Doyle in a dated open edition.
“The Sea Also Rises" series was originally conceived by Doyle as a (somewhat?) humorous take on Global Warming and giant sea creatures getting revenge by invading our urban spaces. But it seems to maybe be preferable to what is actually happening? I for one, would rather have giant King Crabs over raging wildfires…sigh.
For the first time, the King of Crabs now (finally?) is printed with colors to match it’s brother-print “The Sea Also Rises: The 14th St Station Squid.” Both prints are currently available.
